More towns in Adamawa State have fallen to the Boko Haram insurgents seeking to establish an Islamic caliphate in north-east Nigeria. The latest to fall is Mubi, hometown of Nigeria’s chief of defence staff, Alex Badeh. Scores of people were killed, say fleeing residents.
