Chibok Girls Spend 200 Days in Captivity

Friday marks the 200th day the Chibok schoolgirls abducted by Boko Haram are spending in captivity. About 276 schoolgirls writing their final exams in the north-east town were kidnapped on April 14. About 57 of them were said to have escaped so far, leaving 219 unaccounted for.

Speculations about their release have been proved false several times. Some people still hope they would be released on the 200th day.
