Mr John Nnanyerem Aguiyi-Ironsi, 54, the last child of Nigeria’s first military leader Gen. JTU Aguiyi-Ironsi, has reportedly died in the United States.
The sickness that killed him is not known yet.
He was a special adviser to former Abia State governor Theodore Orji as well as to the current governor, Okezie Ikpeazu.
The deceased is different from Aguiyi-ironsi Jnr, who was minister of state, defence, in President Obasanjo’s second tenure, 2003—2007.
