Nigerian university teachers have indicated they would embark on a week-long warning strike effective Wednesday, November 16.
The Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU, is worried about the federal government’s failure to keep agreements reached in 2009 and 2013.
Nigeria’s education system has been bogged down by underfunding and frequent strikes by teachers, among others.
