Nigerian president Muhammadu Buhari has chosen former deputy governor of Akwa Ibom State, Mr. Nsima Ekere, as the managing director of the Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC.

In a letter he sent to the Senate on Wednesday, he also tipped former Senate leader  Victor Ndoma-Egba as chairman of the Commission.

Mrs Ibim Semenitari has been the acting MD of the NDDC since December 21, 2015.
