Nigeria’s EFCC on Wednesday in Abuja arested Mr Alison Madueke. He was accused of laundering over $600, 000.
Madueke is the husband of Diezani Alison-Madueke, former petroleum minister who has been in London for several months. She said she was being treated for cancer of the breast.
Nigeria’s anti-corruption agency is expected to soon direct its searchlight on the petroleum industry.
