Nigeria’s opposition PDP national publicity secretary Olisa Metuh was on Tuesday morning arrested in his Abuja home by four EFCC officials. He followed them to the anti-corruption agency’s office for questioning.
It was gathered that N1.4billion had been traced to an account of Metuh’s company. The money was paid in batches by the office of the National Security Adviser between November 2014 and early 2015.
Metuh recently reported himself by stating that he had received some money for an undisclosed assignment from Goodluck Jonathan.
Some important Nigerians have been arrested and questioned by the EFCC over the sharing of N500billion ($2.1billion) diverted from anti-terror funds by former NSA Sambo Dasuki.
