FEB. 27-MARCH 19 – Former largest party in Africa and now opposition party in Nigeria, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), holds its 2016 chapter of congresses and national convention.
A time-table released by PDP’s national publicity secretary Chief Olisa Metuh in Abuja on Thursday says the party’s ward congresses is scheduled for Feb. 27, 2016. The National Working Committee, NWC, also approved March 5 for the party’s local government area congresses; March 12 for state congresses and March 16 for its zonal congresses.
The NWC approved March 19, 2016, for the party’s national convention.
