Justice Gabriel Kolawole of the Federal High Court has declined jurisdiction in the consolidated suits filed by various stakeholders in the Kogi State supplementary election billed for Saturday. An election petitions tribunal, he ruled, is authorised to determine cases arising from polls.
Accordingly, the poll will go on as INEC stipulated. But the judicial fireworks are likely to continue after Saturday.
