Widespread anger has continued to follow the kidnap of Chief Olu Falae, former finance minister in the Ibrahim Babangida regime and APP presidential candidate in 1999, from his farm in Ondo State on Monday.
Initial reports suggested he was abducted by Fulani herdsmen with whom he had had a running battle.
Many Nigerians have prescribed the death penalty for kidnappers.
