Back in Nigeria: Goodluck Jonathan

Former President Goodluck Jonathan is back in the country after a month’s vacation in Europe and America.

His return was not marked by pomp and ceremony. Even before he left office on May 29, he had started complaining that his friends had deserted him.

Nothing has been heard from Jonathan since May 29, despite accusations of embezzlement and maladministration levelled against him.

Apparently in a bid to impress Jonathan, the man who headed his presidential campaign, Mr Femi Fani-Kayode, has stated that Nigerians deserve terrorist bombs for rejecting the former president at this year’s polls.

The PDP has yet to disown Fani-Kayode.
