Garba Shehu and Femi Adesina are to take charge of the media and publicity department of the Nigerian presidency.
Shehu was the director, media and publicity of the APC Presidential Campaign. Adesina was the managing director of Daily Sun newspaper. Both men have been president of the Nigerian Guild of Editors — Shehu, until 2000; Adesina, until this appointment.
Shehu’s designation is senior special assistant, media and publicity. Adesina is special adviser, media and publicity.
