The part of the Federal Secretariat Complex in Abuja, Nigeria, which accommodates the Federal Ministry of Education, was in the afternoon of Thursday gutted by fire.
The cause of the fire has yet to be established. Fire fighters have been on duty there.
The building is about 500 metres away from Aso Villa, seat of the Nigerian presidency, and the National Assembly Complex.
