Nigeria’s minister of science and technology, Dr Abdu Bulama, lost his wife Hajiya Salamatu Bulama on Sunday at the Turkish Nizamiyyeh Hospital in Abuja after a protracted illness.
A statement just released by Minister Bulama’s special assistant (media), Alhaji Hassan Gimba Ahmed, says prayers for the repose of her soul will take place at noon, Monday, Feb. 16, at the Abuja Central Mosque.
“Born 55 years ago in Biu, Borno State, Hajiya Salamatu was a school teacher who rose to become a vice-principal at the Government Girls’ Secondary School, Potiskum, Yobe State,” says Ahmed. “She left behind two children, Dr Ahmed and Abubakar.“
