For the first time in many months, President Goodluck Jonathan visited Maiduguri, headquarters of Boko Haram, on Thursday to see troops. It was election time.
He had, before then, explained that he couldn’t go because of the the state of Maiduguri Airport. It took the visit of child-right campaigner Malala for the president to invite the traumatised parents of abducted Chibok girls to Aso Villa.
