Nigeria’s House of Reps reconvenes on Thursday, Nov. 20, to consider President Jonathan’s request for extension of emergency rule in Borno, Yobe and Adamawa states.
The House had, three weeks ago, adjourned till Dec. 3. Speaker Aminu Tambuwal announced his defection from the PDP to the APC then. He will still preside over the House on Thursday.
Though he bought the APC presidential ticket, Tambuwal has indicated he will instead run for governor of Sokoto State,
