Anyone who has any business to do within Abuja city on Tuesday had better stay at home. All roads and streets around Eagle Square, venue of President Jonathan’s declaration, are to be closed. Already, the PDP senators that have been begging for their tickets have offered to not resume on Tuesday because of the President’s declaration.
Aware of the security threats that may be caused by terrorists, security agents are doing everything to lock the city down until the end of the ceremony.
Jonathan is the sole candidate of his party PDP. There are feelers that the opposition APC may shift its national convention from Dec. 8 originally proposed.
