Between September 22 and 23, 2014, in Abuja, a conference of higher education stakeholders is slated to take place. Tell magazine and Sojourn are the organisers.
The conference tagged “Innovate and Lead” is billed to seek long-term, sustainable solutions to Nigeria’s higher education challenges.
Education minister Ibrahim Shekarau will be the chief host. Dr Benjamin Akande, dean of George Walker School of Business and Technology, Webster University, Missouri, USA, will be the keynote speaker. Other speakers are former power minister Professor Bart Nnaji, dean of Lagos Business School Dr Enase Okonedo, chairman of Zinox Leo Stan-Ekeh, and MD of DV Worx Femi Odugbemi.
