“Three bomb explosions occurred this morning at three different locations near Muna Garage, Maiduguri. Four people were killed and 18 people injured.”
That was Borno State police commissioner Mr Damian Chukwu speaking.
Other reports speak of five explosions in different parts of Muna Garage in Maiduguri in the early hours of this Wednesday.
One of the locations is Muna Kumbori, an unofficial IDP camp where over 200 internally displaced people live. Two suicide bombers and two innocents died there.
Terrorist group Boko Haram claimed responsibility for several such suicide attacks. Leader of the criminal gang Abubakar Shekau recently threatened further attacks, in a video clip.
