Ken Saro-Wiwa, Jr, Dies at 48

Former Ogoni rights activist Ken Saro-Wiwa’s son has died in the United Kingdom. Ken Saro-Wiwa, Jr, was said to have had a stroke that left him dead within a short time.

Saro-Wiwa, senior, was executed along with eight other Ogoni kinsmen on November 10, 1995, after a kangaroo tribunal set up by the Gen. Sani Abacha military regime found them guilty in the mob execution of four Ogoni men 18 months earlier.
