The federal government Monday sacked the chief executives (DGs) of its media/information agencies. After a meeting with them, information and culture minister Lai Mohammed directed them to hand over to the most senior executive in their respective agencies.
Those affected are Mr Sola Omole of the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA); Mr Ladan Salihu of the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN); Mr Sam Worlu of the Voice of Nigeria (VON); Mr Mike Omeri of the National Orientation Agency (NOA); Mr. Emeka Mba of the National Broadcasting Commission (NBC); and the managing director of the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), Mr Ima Niboro.
