Between now and March 10, there will be reruns in Abia North senatorial district where Senator Ohuabunwa has been sacked. He will recontest against ex-governor Orji Uzor Kalu and others. Ex-governor Godswill Akpabio has, however, retained his seat in the Senate where he is minority leader. His APC opponent Inibehe Okori’s petition failed today at the Appeal Court.
All thanks to appeal courts, even David Mark has been sacked from the Senate. So has Uche Ekwunife of Anambra State. The number of senators, House members, House Assembly members and governors who will go to the polls again by March is rising.
