A meeting of the National Working Committee of the ruling party in Nigeria, the All Progressives Congress, was ongoing on Monday.
The party’s national chairman, Chief John Odigie-Oyegun, convened the meeting ahead of announcement of ministerial nominees likely on Wednesday.
Apart from issues arising from the ministerial list, insiders say a rift between Vice President Yemi Osinbajo and Kaduna State governor Nasir el-Rufai would be resolved, as would disagreements involving Atiku Abubakar and Bisi Akande, Bola Tinubu and Babatunde Fashola, Governor Adams Oshiomhole and Timipre Sylva.
