Oct. 21-23, 2015 — Dr Bukola Saraki, Nigeria’s Senate president, will be on trial at the Code of Conduct Tribunal on a 13-count charge bordering on perjury and corruption.
The CCT accepted the dates agreed upon by the defence and prosecution counsel on Sept. 22, the day Saraki appeared before the CCT for the first time and was docked.
He pleaded not guilty to the charge.
The tribunal had ordered his arrest when he failed to appear in person on Sept. 18 and again on Sept. 21.
