INEC has declared PDP governorship candidate for Enugu State Hon. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi winner. His opponent, Mr Okey Ezea of the APC, and other APC chieftains asked INEC to cancel the election because it was a charade.
Ugwuanyi polled over 480, 000 votes; Ezea received over 43, 800.
