Nigeria’s electoral body INEC has assured that it would display the register of voters for the February elections on Jan. 13, in compliance with the Electoral Act which says the register must be displayed at least 30 days to Election day.
INEC made the promise in a statement on Friday.
Many are yet to get their permanent voter card, the only document that makes one eligible to vote. Three states in the north-east are under siege by Boko Haram terrorists. Millions have been sacked from their homes.
