Primary Schools Reopen in Boko Haram-ravaged Borno

Monday, November 17, is the reopening date for public schools in Borno State, Nigeria. But only primary schools will be reopened after their premises have been fumigated to ward off snakes and rodents. Many secondary schools have been occupied by people displaced by insurgency. Until the IDPs (internally displaced persons) are relocated, the secondary schools will remain closed.
