Speaker Aminu Tambuwal has been expected to announce his change of party for one week now. On Monday, he attended a stakeholders’ meeting of the APC in his home state Sokoto.
The PDP has been plotting to move against him, that is, remove him as speaker of the House of Reps, as soon as he makes a declaration.
He will certainly make a statement anytime soon — possibly this Friday.
