The immediate past managing director of the News Agency of Nigeria, Mrs Remi Oyo, died in a London hospital Wednesday. She died of a cancer.
Mrs Oyo, a veteran journalist, was also a special adviser to President Olusegun Obasanjo.
Aged 62, Oyo was a mother and a grandmother to many.
Her widower confirmed her death.
