Three years after “Occupy Nigeria” happened, the pump prices of fuel in Nigeria are set to go up, despite the fall in crude price in the international market.

The Nigerian government says it will reduce “subsidy” on fuel by 50 per cent from January 2015. Labour unrest has already started but will continue after the implementation of the strange policy. A litre of petrol may hit N120, up from N97.
