Pinnick Elected NFF Chairman

Delta State FA chairman Mr Amaju Pinnick was yesterday elected chairman of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF). He scored 32 votes out of 44, after a rerun.

During the first round of voting, Pinnick was the choice of 25 members of congress but that fell short of the two-thirds majority required for him to be declared winner. Taiwo Ogunjobi had nine votes while Dominc iorfa picked four votes.

There was at least one court order against the election held in Warri, Delta State. It was ignored.

NFF president Alhaji Aminu Maigarai will be handing over to Pinnick. But the NFF crisis is far from over yet.
