Nigerian president Goodluck Jonathan will Wednesday pick his party’s nomination form, a day ahead of the deadline.
No other aspirant in the party has collected the presidential nomination form, an indication that the PDP’s consensus candidate is Jonathan. He will pay N22m for the form — N2m is for expression of interest.
The legitimate income of a Nigerian president is Less than N5million per year. So the nomination form alone is more than his salary for four years.
He is billed to make a formal declaration on Nov. 11.
