APC chieftain Gen. Muhammadu Buhari (rtd) on Wednesday broke a pledge he made in 2011 because, according to him, he wants to rescue Nigeria from corruption, terrorism and other ills. He formally declared his intention to take part in the 2015 election. The former head of state, it seems, has not resisted pressure from his associates most of whom hope to ride to power on his back.
It will be Buhari’s fourth attempt since 2003.
